SUPPORT AND RECOVERY
From time to time, we all need help coping with the challenges of life. Riverchase's Counseling Center Coordinator, Stephanie Fedor-Joseph, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) committed to guiding you towards wellness through one-on-one counseling sessions.
Typically, sessions are 50 minutes in length, though extended sessions are available. Sessions can be scheduled weekly or as needed based on counseling goals. To cover the cost of the program, fees can range from $65 to $95 per session, based on income.
For a free, confidential telephone consultation, or to set up an appointment, please contact our counselor, Stephanie Fedor-Joseph, MS, LPC, NCC, firstname.lastname@example.org, 205-520-1379, Monday - Thursday, between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Find freedom from life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits.
An 8-week study, Life’s Healing Choices is currently underway. Join us on Tuesday nights at 6 PM for a light meal followed by group study beginning at 6:30 PM. We meet in the Fireside Room at Riverchase UMC (enter through Door #7 by the Counseling Center). Please contact Sherri Savage at email@example.com if you plan to attend, and let us know if you have childcare needs.
Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may overcome their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; AA is a self-supporting group through its own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy; and neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Its primary purpose is to help its members stay sober and to help other alcoholics achieve sobriety.
AA meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 6:30 PM in the Education/Office Building room 111.
