Relational fellowship with sisters in Christ.
Mission Statement
Riverchase Women’s Ministry provides encouragement to help strengthen women’s relationships with Jesus Christ through fellowship and outreach. We strive to serve others with compassion and love and to glorify God in all we do and say.
Events
Pop-Up Events
An opportunity for fun and fellowship 4-5 times per year as we relax and enjoy one another. Events could be a painting party, yoga, movie night, crafts, etc.
Large Group Events
Large Group Events are planned twice a year, usually in the spring and fall. These events include sharing a delicious meal and great fellowship. Our guest speakers share motivation as we grow in our relationship with Christ and with each other.
Opportunities to Serve
Our mission team plans and implements four mission opportunities per year where we can serve women and children in need.
Women’s Retreat
This event is planned once a year to increase the study and application of God’s Word, to help women understand and apply the gospel in their daily lives, and build Christ-centered relationships in an extended time of fellowship in a relaxed environment. The retreat is usually scheduled in late January or early February.
Salt & Light Event
This large event brings women together at Riverchase UMC each fall to bring a dynamic speaker and share a wonderful meal. Please join us!
