The Fine Arts Academy is designed for people of all ages. We welcome children, teens and adult students, whether they are beginners or experienced.

All of our instructors are degreed! We offer quality instruction in:

How We Operate

Lessons are held at Riverchase United Methodist Church. Two recitals and art shows are held each year, at Christmas and in May.

 

Semesters

The Fine Arts Academy offers three semesters:

·     Fall (16 weeks, Aug. through Dec.)

·     Spring (16 weeks, Jan. through May)

·     Summer A and B (4 weeks each)

 

Length of Lessons

Music lessons are 30 minutes long and art classes are 1.5 hours. If you would like longer lessons, this can be arranged through the Director.

 

Cost of Lessons

  • Music Lessons: After a one-time $10 enrollment fee, lessons are $352 per semester, payable in four installments of $88. We will prorate the cost if you begin taking lessons after a semester has started.

  • Art Classes: After a one-time $10 enrollment fee, classes are $250 for a 12-week period. Supplies are provided. Contact Kathy Wallace to be enrolled in the next available session. Click here for more information about art lessons.
