Back to School Buddies

Riverchase Women present Back to School Buddies

Riverchase Women, in support of Urban Ministry
Back to School clothing for children in Birmingham’s West End

Riverchase Women are partnering with Urban Ministry on a back-to-school program similar to the Angel Tree at Christmas. The focus is Back to School Clothing for children in need.

We encourage families to “adopt” a Buddy and shop together for specific children registered through Urban Ministry. Volunteers are available to shop on someone’s behalf if someone is unable to do the actual shopping. Monetary donations will be accepted and used to shop.

Beginning Sunday, July 13 through July 31, you may sign-up for a “Back to School Buddy” to shop for clothing. Please bring all bags to the office or leave in the Welcome Center by August 3.

If you have questions or need more information, please call or email Tara Glass (205) 915-7300, tglass8@gmail.com.

As of 7/20 ALL children have been “adopted”! This is awesome!
