Riverchase Women’s Ministry, in support of Urban Ministry
Back to School clothing for children in Birmingham’s West End
Riverchase Women’s Ministry is partnering with Urban Ministry on a back-to-school program similar to the Angel Tree at Christmas. The focus is Back to School Clothing for children in need.
We encourage families to “adopt” a Buddy and shop together for specific children registered through Urban Ministry. Volunteers are available to shop on someone’s behalf if someone is unable to do the actual shopping. Monetary donations will be accepted and used to shop.
Beginning Sunday, September 1 through Sunday, September 22, you may sign-up for a “Back to School Buddy” to shop for clothing.
Register TodayReturn your Buddy bags Sunday, September 22 in the Welcome Center, or Monday-Thursday, September 23-26, in the church office.
You also have the option of helping with …
– delivering the bags to Urban Ministry on Friday, September 27, 10 AM – 2 PM
