From the moment of birth, your child becomes an important part of our church family. We are committed to being a faith community that surrounds you and your child with love, care, nurture and hope. We pray you will find many opportunities for your child to grow in their spiritual journey, here at Riverchase, through worship, Sunday school, children's choir, camps, missions, weekly school, bible studies and more.

Beginning with our youngest friends, at 6 weeks old, and ending with 2-year olds, we begin laying the foundations of faith with song, dance, bubbles, laughter, and love! Our nursery workers are happy to provide a safe, loving, and secure nursery for your child from 8:30 AM - 12:15 PM.

Each Sunday at 9:40 AM, children (3K to 5th grade) explore the Bible through interactive lessons, stories, crafts, games and hands on learning in Riverchase's Sunday School classes for children. These engaging lessons assist parents in providing a foundation of faith.

Parents must check children in and out of classrooms. Look for our Children's Ministry Assistants on Sunday morning to help you find your child's classroom.

We have a new format, where your child can enjoy all of our offerings, if they choose.

Our children are taught to be missional. Children can participate in a summer mission week and monthly mission collections.

Each month, children in Sunday School and Wednesday night activities are asked to participate in the Children's Missions program by bringing one mission item.  These items benefit several local charities, like Oak Mountain Mission Ministries, Christian's Place, Urban Ministry and Church of the Reconciler.
